PCE has well-furnished and well-stocked library with adequate numbers of books
on the related subject both in the category of Text and Reference. The library
has a Book Bank along with spacious Reading Room facilities. Constant addition
of latest Publications and subscription to different Technical Journal and
magazines makes it a heaven for the seekers and to cater to the need of the
ever-inquisitive students, faculty, professionals and the visiting faculty. PCE
is an active member of DELNET online library for exchange and sharing of
programs and information both in national and international scale.
TRAINING & PLACEMENT
FOR REAL SERVICE TO THE NATION & MANKIND
The institute takes utmost care to expose the students to the real life
requirements of industry and social commitment while arranging the statutory
vocational summer training. PCE has one technical forum for each department that
conducts Seminars, Quiz and Group Discussions involving the students so as to
enhance their technical skill and knowledge apart from usual academic progress.
Besides the institute has a Training and Placement cell manned by experienced
Public Relation and Human Resources professionals and are in the process of
developing rapport with prospective employers of its products in due course of
time. The management is quite confident for the future of the student of PCE.
HOSTEL
THE HOME AWAY FROM HOME
This aspect has been given high Priority to provide the boarders, away from
there respective homes a feeling of homeliness. PCE has separate hostels for
boys and girls with single and double-bedded accommodation with all provisions
for communication, audio-visual and other recreational and indoor game
facilities. The Boys Hostel consists of 144 rooms (single and double seated)
with a capacity of 250 while the girls hostel is having 69 rooms (double seated)
with a capacity of accommodating 150 inmates. Both the hostels enjoy facilities
like Internet Xerox and STD.
SPORTS CELL
HEALTHY MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY
PCE has constituted a Sports Cell with the aid and advice of qualified and
experienced coach and sportsmen that, through various outdoor and indoor games
keeps the students physically fit and mentally sportive to take up and maintain
speed of their age.
DRESS CODE & DISCIPLINE
DISCIPLINE IS A WAY OF LIFE – NOT IMPOSITION
Dress Code has been prescribed with meticulously blending the colour with design
of the uniform, that gives the students an active feeling with a sense of
equality and are unique for each year. Discipline, in the campus is practiced -
never imposed.
